“Dimensions” metaphorically portrays the creative process through a multi-dimensional journey. The film follows five heroes pulled into unique worlds who interact with their inhabitants and gather the knowledge required to exit the multiverse. With each step of the journey, we delve deeper into the multi-dimensional landscapes of a creator’s imagination, exploring the boundless possibilities of their creative vision and the inspiration that fuels it.
The film debuted at the 2023 SCAD Fashion Show in Atlanta, GA, kicking off an exciting runway showcase of graduating student garments led by opening model, Coco Rocha.

From the moment we got eyes on the unique concept to create films beyond the traditional tech explainer, we dove in headfirst with our friends at Doremus and never looked back. We crafted an artful and energetic visual world through the mixture of colorful lighting, practical weather FX, and high-speed photography. With a dash of Scholar animation, we elevated the live action pieces into a space rippling with coding and data visualization.

Working closely with our team of designers and stylists, we created four custom fashion pieces inspired by the impossibly compact shape of the Galaxy Z Flip. Each talent and wardrobe was then designed into a set influenced by real-world spaces. We broke down these realistic settings into their essential parts, and created minimalist, monochromatic set designs that relied solely on shape and lighting.

As a true collaborative process alongside Hill Holiday’s amazing team, this project planted itself quickly and firmly into our emotional stratosphere. From the moment we began the steps of uncovering the narrative thread that would tie the world of Bank of America’s “Power to” campaign together we were hooked. The visuals. The message. The tone and uplifting language of the campaign. We were electric.
To us this was an opportunity to craft something artful. To utilize our design-driven prowess and create an emotive world. To curate a powerful, own-able aesthetic for Bank of America. We brought with us our own amazing energy and allowed the positivity of the brand to shed a light on their wonderful endeavors in an elevated way. We also created a world where our heroes could comfortably tell their stories while simultaneously being immersed in a visually stunning world of their own creation.

The course of history has been shaped by an infinite number of choices made since the dawn of time. But that's the history we know… what about the history that could have been? In collaboration with gnet, we take viewers on a zooming journey for one of Xbox’s latest game trailers. With a dash of cinematic style, we highlight the leaders forging their way through history. Our goal was to capture the imagination of gamers by mixing contrasting elements from the past and future –Egyptian pyramids entrenched deep into an arctic landscape, a modern city celebrating the return of a Byzantine empress. In Ara, the possibilities of stories untold are limitless.

For this year's March Madness tournament, we teamed up with the folks at Google and Eleven, Inc. to create live TV spots airing during the games to present a real-time data prediction created by Google Cloud. We created a toolkit packed with animation and editable supers capable of producing thousands of iterations to account for any number of possibilities.
During production at Scholar, our artists were tasked with the challenge of adapting quickly and tackling a range of design styles as concepts were developed. The success of each idea was dependent on the unique and eye-catching look and feel of each moment that lived between supers. So we tapped into every style we could think of to create exciting bursts of animation, CG, and live action. With less control over exactly which shots were chosen to air, we needed to ensure our toolkit of design was stylistically balanced, and would always capture the mixed-media Google style.

This fun, anthemic piece was created to launch the redesign of Facebook’s Messenger platform. I jumped into the live-action shoot and early edit phase before Mac Johnson and the design/animation team at GS took it across the finish line.
